As much as I don't want to start another post apologizing, I am. I haven't blogged the last three days, because I had to get a program installed on my computer and it took the people three days to put it on and I guess fix some viruses or some other junk on the computer. Well now I am back and i'll start this post off with my garlic brussel sprouts. Sadly there isn't a picture I was hungry and didn't have enough time to take one...my bad.
Roasted Garlic Brussel Sprouts
about 1 cup brussel sprouts
1 garlic clove, small, minced(unless you like a lot of garlic)
olive oil
Mince the garlic and toss into a bowl with enough olive oil to cover the brussel sprouts. Let sit for a few minutes
Then toss the brussel sprouts into the bowl making sure each one gets covered with olive oil.
Roast them in an oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 7 minutes. Flip them over and continue roasting for 8 minutes or until roasted the way you like.
There you go another quick simple and yummy dish. Well more side dish.

Now onto my next part of this post thee review. It is Saturday and I said I would post my review on some type of vegan item on Fridays. Since I couldn't Friday I am going to now. Well at first I was clueless what to do then it hit me. I just got some Silk Pumpkin Spice. If any of you don't know it's a seasonal flavor.
To first try out this baby I used it in my coffee. I was disappointed. :( I couldn't taste the pumpkin spice flavor what so ever. Then I tried it by itself and I liked it a lot. It was sweet, but not like overly sweet. I consider this a good thing because I don't like overly sweet things. Next time I try this I might add it into my oatmeal. :)

Alright now lastly in this post i'm going to do a survey type thing from I Eat Trees.
What is one food you thought you’d miss when you went vegan, but don’t?
I'm not vegan, but a vegetarian and I'd totally thought I'd miss bacon, but oddly enough that's the least thing I miss. I find it to revolting now. :P blech.
What is a food or dish you wouldn’t touch as a child, but enjoy now?
I'd have to say sweet potatoes in general. I went to a girl scout camp a few years back and had a sweet potato, yuck I didn't like it one bit. Recently though I just love them and could eat them everyday. Soup is another thing I was never a big fan of soup, until recently. I would on a slight occasion have some though.
What vegan dish or food you feel like you “should” like, but don’t?
Avocados! by far.
What beverage do you consume the most of on any given day?
tea, usually.
What dish are you “famous” for making or bringing to gatherings?
Can't say I have one.
Do you have any self-imposed food rules (like no food touching on the plate or no nuts in sweets)?
uhm not that I can think of except I won't touch a veggie/fruit if it's been on the same plate as meat or fish or gelatin...well you get my point.
What’s one food or dish you tend to eat too much of when you have it in your home?
Bread and naturally dried mangoes and bananas.
What ingredient or food do you prefer to make yourself despite it being widely available prepackaged?
Sweet potato fries is the only thing coming to my mind. I'm not sure if it's widely available prepackages, but there are frozen ones you can but that I've seen at whole foods.
What ingredient or food is worth spending the extra money to get “the good stuff”?
Granola.
Are you much of a snacker? What are your favorite snacks?
I'm not usually a huge snacker, but lately I have been. Favorite snack? I've got to say dried mangoes and fruit leather.
What are your favorite vegan pizza toppings?
Pesto and Veggies. I haven't had a daiya cheese pizza yet, but I plan onto soon.
What is your favorite vegetable? Fruit?
vegetable-cauliflower, sweet potato, brussel sprouts, asparagus, broccoli. I like to many vegetables.
fruit-I don't have a favorite. I like most fruit except Gala apples, and raisins(I like them in oatmeal cookies, that's about the only thing i'll eat them with)
What is the best salad dressing?
I usually just use plain balsamic vinegar.
What is your favorite thing to put on toasted bread?
Do I have to pick a favorite? hmmmm...here's my top few favorites raspberry jam(365 brand), any nut butter pretty much, and hummus
What kind of soup do you most often turn to on a chilly day or when you aren’t feeling your best?
Potato Soup! Usually leek and potato, but I don't care just as long as it's potato
What is your favorite cupcake flavor? Frosting flavor?
I don't eat sweets that often, but I really like Cakewalk Bakery's pumpkin cheesecake cupcake. It's a vanilla cupcake with pumpkin cheesecake in the middle topped with a cream cheese frosting.
What is your favorite kind of cookie?
Peanut butter. :) Wait pumpkin is my favorite during fall though.
What is your most-loved “weeknight meal”?
Anything that has to do with breakfast for dinner really.
What is one dish or food you enjoy, but can’t get anyone else in your household to eat?
Spicy food. It's not that I can't get any one to eat it, it's just my dad has a bladder disease (ICC disease for short, I think they call it) so he can't eat anything acidic or spicy without hurting.
How long, in total, do you spend in the kitchen on an average day?
Considering my computer is in the kitchen haha probably to much.
I love breakfast for dinner too! Thank you for the link! :)
